Hard disc failing

Trying to record on main Q box and message comes up hard disc failing, unable to use neither of the mini boxes.  Tried rebooting but still not working.  We can only watch on main Q box/ not happy considering we are paying £126 every month

Try following this link. It should lead to a replacement box if needed https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-q-hard-drive-errors

If you do need a new main box remember to remove the viewing card from the faulty box before it disappears into the back of the couriers van and accept any new power cable DPD deliver with the replacement box in case it's different to the one you have.

Regardless of how much you pay hard drives fail.  Follow this: https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-q-hard-drive-errors

Remember to remove your viewing card for the box swap.  Sky may consider a credit for the outage.

Hi @stasia

Work through the following link

https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-q-hard-disk-error-messages
If you have to order a new Q box this usually means a doorstep swap.
Don’t forget to keep your viewing card from the failed box if you order a replacement.
Also if the box you are replacing is a 2TB there are two versions of power supply. One has a standard C7 (figure of eight) power lead socket in the back of the Q box. The other has a separate power supply. Although this still has the C7 power lead into the power supply there is a multi pin Din power socket in the Q box for connecting the power supply. Make sure that the replacement box has the power supply included if the Q box has the orange coded multi pin din socket in the back of the Q box. See below.
