Had a sky person just ring up and said I should have a sky Q box aswell as a small box

Had a sky person just rang me up to discuss my sky freeby account and asked what box we had and said we only have the small box and he said you should also have the Q box aswell with the voice remote but I said we only have the one small boxx he said to ring sky up and they will sort that out for me tried to ring but got put through to this instead can you assist me please as this needs to be rectified

Confusing.  Without a large main Q box connected to the satellite dish cables, Q television doesn't work at all.

 

The 'small box' in Q is typically a Q Mini Box (the clue is in the name) used on one or more additional television sets at the same address.

Sky typically doesn't do anything for free. 

 

If you have Sky Stream on a 'free' period (before the subscription kicks in) then that could just be one small box.
