Hi. A bit of a puzzler.
I've noticed that for Dune 2 the main listing shows it as UHD for me. On the other formats button the HDR version is listed but it stubbornly refuses to download the HDR version. (I also spotted that Fellowship of the Ring also only shows UHD on the main listing despite a HDR version also being available.)
Most other movies seems ok eg Dead Reckoning and Gladiator 2's main listing both show UHD and HDR (I'm assuming that the box will list the "best" version available to me as the default.) They both play in HDR with no problems. (As does other HDR stuff eg Sky Sports UHD - currently showing Tennis if you're interested.)
I'm guessing that the issue is at Sky's end but any suggestions are welcome.

Yep - it's definitely Sky's software being crappy!
If I do a search for films not listed with HDR (voice or by text) I get the HDR versions as the default (Dune 2, Fellowship of the Ring, The Shawshank Redemption and so on,) which work fine. If I try to find them via Sky Cinema I'm stuck with the non HDR version (sometimes not even the UHD one just HD ?!)
Tis a weird one but at least I have a solution!

Re: HDR version of some movies don’t download?
Hi @hrai
Just had a look at this here.
I already have a HD version of Dune 2 in my recordings.
Checked All formats on this and it shows HDR version. Downloading this works OK.
Search results of LOTR The fellowship of .......... show me the HDR version by default.
So all looks OK at Sky's end here

Re: HDR version of some movies don’t download?
Thanks for that. @oldfella
Although it seems even odder in that some movies are ok but others aren't just on my box ?!? I've tried a reboot to no avail but looking at the tiles on the Sky Cinema "must see" row there are 20 odd films listed with 4/5 not showing HDR - including The Shawshank Redemption.
Which is where it gets really odd. Yesterday I actually watched The Shawshank Redemption HDR version but now it shows on the tile list as just UHD. I undeleted the HDR version and it plays fine. If I select the HDR version from the list of formats there is a Play option (as opposed to watch) which makes sense as it's been downloaded. But if I delete it again I can't get it to (re)download the HDR.
Maybe a version number, just the Universe at large being mischievous or Sky's software being a bit crappy - my guess the third 😉
