Power Cycled both the SkyQ Main Box and the TV
The current Man Utd v Spurs game is only in UHD (Not HDR) via Channel Sky Sports UHD Main Event channel..?
Went to 'On Demand' and the 'Ultra HD' section.. Selected 'House of Dragons' which I have previously watched from SkyQ in UHD/HDR and it only displays the content as being UHD, even within 'Other Formats'
Either I've lost some functionality here via my UHD sub or this Main Box is not functioning as it should?

Hi @IL+Cattivo I'm sorry to hear this is happening to you too. It was never "fixed" but I got home a few days later and it had just resolved itself and was just working again. I'd recommend contacting the Sky Help Team on Twitter. They were actually really helpful and were helpful investigating the issue when it fixed itself.

The Likely issue is the Extended HDMI port(s) on the TV and Sky Q. What can happen is the TV and Sky Q box fail to handshake, this can leave the Sky Q still showing 2160/10-bit in the menu but it has ceased to work and has reverted to 8-bit. This is a Software issue as the Sky Q box has not updated the OS to relfect the change.
The quickest test is to go into your TV and change the Extended or Plus HDMI port setting OFF and then ON, then reset the Output setting to 10-bit in the Q menu and once it picks it up, then save and try again.
I have seen this happen on Samsung and LG HDR sets and is possibly related to both TV and Sky Q issues.

Goodness me.. This was absolutely spot on..!!
A recent TV firmware update must have thrown the HDMI Input for my SkyQ Main box to Standard.
Changed it back to Enhanced and voila.. We're back playing HDR again. 😊
Many thanks for this.

Great to hear, glad all sorted and hopefully something that comes along as a software update from Sky in the future to detect and update the OS when it happens.
Happy HDR'ing 🙂
