Bit of a long shot but..

There has been issues where a user's ISP has "routed" a connection so that it looks the user is in another country which has resulted in access to some apps being blocked. (Often Spain for some reason !?)

It's not dodgy and usually a call to the ISP sorts it out.

You can check online using sites like "WhereIsMyIP.com"

Traffic routing doesn't change the source IP of a connection.

ISPs have reallocated IPv4 address blocks to different countries than they were origially assigned (because they've run out) and the geo lookup tables are out of date. Calling the ISP might get this updated.

Hi everyone i have 2 sky accounts seperate emails are used for the accounts. i activated hbo no problem via the mysky app and it was all going fine.
Until i went to activated my mothers ( my 2nd account)   For some reason as soon as i clicked on the activate hbo link on mysky it linked both of my sky accounts to hbo rather than asking me to set up an email.
i wanted both accounts to be seperated. Rather than using the same email.
after speaking to 4 people at sky they eventuslly managed to remove sky form hbo for me so it now only shows i have one account. but now on the mysky it still says its activated! And i need it to say ready to activate so i can try to do it again using a differant  phone.  Anyone no had this happen to them and managed to sort it? Sky are not very good at dealing with this.

In what sense do you have two accouhts? They must have different ids, addresses, phone app logins, Q boxes I'd have thought so effectively they are two people woth two accounts? What do they have in common which has caused this?

HBO Max cannot watch anything

I have registered my account for hbo max being both a sky q and tnt subscription yet I am unable to watch any programmes on the platform other than sports.. if I try watch a series it says not currently available in my package.. so now I cannot watch my usual programmes on either my q box or the app..

You have to make sure that you're on one of the input boxes before pressing the select button, that said, just use your online account through a browser or perhaps easier, the MySky App on your phone.

Re: Can't activate HBO

UPDATE......... Despite being told by Sky that I have to upgrade my HBO Max in order to get TNT Sports ( already paid for via Sky) on the HBO app and my subsequent complaint about this to Sky, I now have TNT Sports via HBO Max with ads.  It must have migrated overnight.  Thank you to all those who who commented on my post.
