It's not done with the nunbers on the remote. Highlight the date of birth field then press select and an on screen number pad will appear.

Re: HBO max

For anyone with Sky Q yet to activate HBO Max I found it very straightforward using the MySky app rather than doing it via the Sky Q box. It solves the problems people may have trying to type in dates of birth using the Sky Q remote.

Yeah: that wasn't a great bit of interface design...

Hey Everyone,

I have noticed a few post regarding TNT not working on your HBO app when you have it as part of your Sky subscription. I just wanted to make you aware that I have raised this to the appropriate teams and they are working on fixing this for you. I will update when the issue has been resolved.

Thanks you for your patience while we sort this.

Thanks,

Yes, I have some things to say to you.

I'm a Sky Q customer who has TNT Sports too via Sky,  Sky have bigged up this move.  Nowhere did I see that in order to continue to stream TNT Sports via HBO Max, you would have to upgrade from the "free" version of HBO to their premium one.  I've spent hours beofre this trying to link accounts and all the other blah on the sites but it won't let me.  I've jst had an online chat with SKY who told me this news.  So, this is a downgrade from Discovery Plus for TNT Sports subscribers isn't it?  However, Sky failed to tell their customers this, didn't they?

This is an absolute disgrace.  Please show me when I was actually informed of this "downgrade"  It cannot be desribed as anything else.  How much more money to these companies want out of us?  It's becoming a rip off.

For hilarity the TNT commentator Steve Day trilled how seamless the transfer process was on the MotoGP commentary. Clearly oblivious to the situation.

hi @pp1965

I do not know the ins & outs of TNT via the apps but I can advise that you have been advised incorrectly that you need to upgrade from the basic tier to continue to  get TNT Sports

The switch from Discovery+ to HBO Max is being done by their owners WBD

Hi @pp1965   Just to be clear, if you subscribe to TNT Sports through Sky (I do), then HBO Max Sports is included. There is no need to pay for an upgrade to HBO Max Entertainment unless you want TNT Sports in UHD (blurb says requires Premium). I am currently watching live E3 Saxo Classic in HD on HBO Max and am using the free HBO Max with Ads.

I am sorry you are wrong if you subscribe to tnt sports though sky you don't have to have premium HBO max subscription it included in your TNT subscription just like it was with discovery plus. You should just need to activate  though the HBO max app on your sky  box or the my sky app, using the same login you used for discovery plus. You should  also get the basic with ads HBO max package as well without extra cost. I know  this because like you I am aTNT sports subscriber though sky and that's what I have got. Ifyou can not get that and only geting offered a pay subscription package there is something wrong and need to contact sky to get it sorted

Re: HBO Max is Now Included in Most TV Packages!

Thanks but as you can see Sky told me this not an hour ago.  It seems they got it wrong but whatever I do it won't activate.
