Once you have activated the account then you shouldn't need to 'activate' again - do you not just get a Log In option ?

Had the same issue in Jersey, but found that clicking the 'use a different email address' but then using the same email address as for sky allowed it to work. Hope that helps!

Had the same issue in Jersey but found that clicking the 'use another email' and then using the same email as your sky (even if it's the same as hbo is suggesting) has worked. Hope this helps

I cant get hbo max sorted as i am logged in already through tnt

Hi, i have a sky subscription. I want to activate hbo max as its now included. Also separate to that I have tnt sports which i get through bt but watch through sky ch 410, 411 etc. Also I watched tnt sports through discovery app. On 26th March that changed  from discovery to hbo max, I sorted that out easily but when I go to activate hbo max that sky are giving me my tv already has me logged in via tnt (even though I only activated through my phone).  When I try to activate through sky I get a message saying I will be charged if I set up 2 accounts(by who?). I phoned up sky and guy there not helpful. 

Should I sign out of hbo max and activate through sky or will this cause more issues? 

The tnt version of hbo max only gives me sport and the sky version once I activate it will give me the series programming. 

The person from sky said the fact I had the same email for both makes this more complicated still but couldn't give a clear solution. 

Advice appreciated.

HBO activation issue

Hello I have TNT sports through my EE mobile package however it won't let me activate the sky hbo subscription thats part of the package is it cause of the tnt?

HBO Max

I have received thr rmsil ftom Sky, the app has appeared on the TV list of apps.

 

Unable to register or log in. Any ideas?

I have the same issue.  I pay for TNT via Sky but when I go onto HBO Max it isn't recognised and I only have the free basic with adds sub.  Spent several hours trying to sort yesterday as I mostly watch the cycling via streaming.  The people I got on the phone at Sky didn't understand the issue, best I got was a hopefully it will resolve itself in time.  The person on live chat at HBO tried to tell me that you can't even get TNT via Sky, so they weren't any better.

Wheres HBO?

I'm on Sky Signature on Sky Q.

My Q box tells me I have free HBO Max.

I've created an account and can see I have an active subscription. 

But I can't see HBO Max in the Apps section and when I say it to voice control in the remote it tells me that I cannot get it on my subscription. 

What's going on?

I have activated the account but when you go to watch TNT Sport is says to log into my sky account and activate there can someone shed some light on this as its not that simple.

Sky hbo on mini box

I have activated hbo on the main box but can't watch on a mini box. The app gives a qr code and asks to either log in or sign up. Why won't it just work like all the other apps?

Have you tried logging in with your credentials configured on the main box?

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

I activated and was watching HBO last night, Friday 27 March, but today Saturday I get the 'activate' slots in the main menu again, the app just gives me a 'MYSKY_2018' error and there are no HBO shows listed anywhere. Utter shambles.

Adding HBOmax

I am trying to add HBOmax. They require info on dob and gender. I have tried to add this using the Sky handset but nothing happens. How do I do this? Thanks!

You don't use the numbers on your remote. Select the first box of your date of birth on  the screen and click on it. A couple of rows of number will appear on bottom of your screen. Select correct numbers to fill box's with your date of birth

This seems to be the only app that doesn't show films in full screen.
