Got a new sky Q mini box yesterday and it won't sync to my main box

Is the broadband working fine?
Are you getting any error message while you try to establish a connection?
Always try to connect using the help menu with the min / main Q box.
Try to make use of the WPS button when connecting wireless / WiFi

Assume you have carried out a Network reset on the mini?
Reboot the mini as above.
If the mini still does not connect try a Network Reset on the mini.
Network Reset found in mini Home - Settings - Setup - Network.
Highlight Status and then select Reset on the right hand side. Follow instructions to WPS with main Q box.
You will be asked to press the WPS button on the main Q box (not the mini as the Network reset will start the mini WPS automatically ).
If you are on Sky Broadband and the Router is nearer to the mini than the main box then you can try pressing WPS on the router instead of the main Q box.
If it still will not connect move it near to your main TV. Assuming you have a spare HDMI input on your main TV you can plug your mini into that.
Repeat the Network reset on the mini as above. After it connects move it back to the correct location.
