Just had an email saying I can watch season 1 of Apple TV's Invasion for free, which I have done and started watching. Sky offer

what it didn't explain is have I now started a free 6 month trial of Apple TV and be charged thereafter?

As a special offer, Invasion can be downloaded to your Sky box and watched without signing up to Apple TV. Does it appear in your recording menu? If so you will not have started a free trial of Apple TV.

I have the streaming puck. I wanted 8 episodes without having to subscribe or sign up but episode 9 season one wants me to sign up to apple and I get 1 week free, then £8.99 per month thereafter. Not really sure on two things: Where's the free 6 months gone? Why am I now not able to watch invasion without having to sign up to Apple!
