Free Discovery plus on Sky Q followed instructions and not working

I have the offer for free Discovery plus. I activated it on Sky and accepted/ Then got the code frpm Discovery. Entered it and said all set. When I click a program says retry or upgrade pass. When I look at my Sky package on my laptop it says activate Discovery on tv which I have done. When I go to Sky on TV it says it is activated yet when looking at my account on Discovery it says manage your subcriptions to purchase. Really confused.
