Running Sky Fibre Gigafast, Sky router, Sky hub which has one mini box hard wired to it, plus 2 more minis in other rooms, and 2 boosters! And all for a terraced house is SW London! Sky have visited 2 times to look at the mesh as wifi was poor in ceratin areas, but since visits the hard wired mini buffers alot, one meshed mini just drops signal or freezes....what do I do? I have voice connected to router too, but rarely used except for scammers calling pretending to be HMRC! 3rd party router giving better wifi? Why might a hard wired mini start buffering? That can't be a wifi issues (although router to hun NOT hard wired). Replies gratefully received, especially if written for someone vaguely aware of tech. Thanks

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreWhat's a Sky hub if it's not a router? Is it the root node in a mesh? I didn't know Sky sold a wifi mesh.
is wifi disabled on the mini that's hardwired?

@Chodley Isn't the whole point of Sky Q and minis to create a wifi mesh? That's how the minis talk to each other.

Yes. But I'm not aware of a standalone wifi mesh product from them so not sure what a Sky hub is?
