Edit typo @Quoman7

I assume you're on a mini when this happens?

@GD1 Thanks, yes definitely Sky Q, the newer box connected to a satellite dish out front.
It's also connected by HD cable to broadband box for the home page & usual facilities,, so the broadband ( now part fibre) has always been connected this way or internet & home page won't work > BB box goes to the phone Pole out back.
What has changed lately is this "part fibre" service for home telephone , I still need connect my landline to broadband box as this type of service has stopped my landline working. Sky said I'd lose my landline soon anyway?
The broadband cutting out is always around 1am > 3am & I've noticed some apps I use on tablet saying I'm on a new device, when I'm not > presume that's this part fibre home phone I don't have plugged in right now. The broadband sorted itself after half an hour of checks , just annoying as it hardly happened before. I'm trying to save money, that's why I was changed over to this part fibre phone line. I have a mobile but keep phoneline for emergency (now I wonder why! I think this Broadband 150 costs more than the basic I had before.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreMaybe the router also has a nightly cycle thing
would be weird though. My non-Sky router has been up for 500+ days.
and yes fibre is way better than copper but you can't use an old school landline phone on it.

Hi @Chodley I did wonder about some routine Cycle, but this is same sky box , been in over 3years now since the original solid sky box was changed to this lighter 1.
Good to know that's correct about the landline,, so I will need a news type of handset then!? > Sky guy never told me that!
This must also be the reason the ISP address seems to change & apps think I'm on a different device? Still not sure why this network & wifi drops out now ( TV stream/home page & WiFi both at same time) .
This change was to save £money but I only saved the home sky line service I dropped like voicemail 😕 Thanks for your help. Any advice to save £money as they are putting prices up in April & taking away the tiny £discount I get.
