I have a Samsung OLED and every time the red button pop's up the whole screen dims... I watch in UHD and the pop-up comes on every 10 mins or so... I am constantly pressing backup on the Sky Q remote.
I understand the need for the popup once now and again but every 10 mins is ridiculous
This is still happening for the Monaco Grand Pri on Sly F1 UHD bit doesn't happen on the HD channel and also isn't happening when F1 is on Main Event UHD. However this is switching to the football soon.
only thing to do whilst this remains an issue is to live pause for 5-10 seconds and watch it slightly behind live.

Until the Championship Play Off final started I was watching the F1 in UHD on 406. Yes, the red button popped up periodically but I have to say I hardly noticed it and it didn't spoil my viewing experience.

On another thread someone said there is a simple solution, which is to pause for a couple of seconds, then you are no longer watching live and won't get the ridiculous pop-up. I haven't tried it, but others verified it works.
