Hi community, I curenlty have BT old school copper cables supplying a hard wire connection to my sky Q box for broadband and also the phone.
I have just had full fibre fitted to the house (mainly for working from home at 900mb/s) but it does not reach the Sky Q or TV systems as it comes into the house at the front with no way (without serious plasterwork repairs) to get the to Sky Q box or TV.
Question, before I cancel the BT connection, will the Sky Q box work on wifi for all the tech it uses, including downloading films, updates etc or does the Sky Q box have to be hard wired to an ethernet cable from a broadband service provision? Many thanks and sorry for the niaivity here! A techie I'm not! Mike

Hi @MikeO1965
Sky Q works on WiFi or Ethernet.
Certainly best to have an Ethernet to the Broadband router if possible.
