Since yesterday when we try to watch Sky Sports it says "you don't subscribe to this channel" and "you need to upgrade your package". Obviously we do subscribe to it and haven't changed the package. When I press the red button to "start your upgrade" it tells me I already subscribe and gives me error code DSU 508.
I've spent a full day googling and resetting--unplugging for 30 secs; unplugging all cables and removing the viewing card; forcing a software update--and nothing has changed. I tried to do a 'hidden menu' reset but the hidden menu remained hidden so that didn't work.
From browsing these forums it seems to be a fairly common issue but no resolution has been offered apart from escalating it to a private chat.
So can I escalate this to a private chat, please.

I never saw the chat bubble.
we called Sky who took details and said they'd call back in a few hours. That didn't happen either.
