Episode 1 of BBC shows not on Sky Q

When trying to watch some of the new BBC shows "The Reckoning" and "Time" on catch up on Sky Q, episode 1 is missing. The first available episode is episode 2.

When I go into the BBC iPlayer app on SkyQ,  episode 1 is available there but I can't understand why it's not available when searching on Sky Q.

This isn't limited to the above two shows it's nearly all BBC series.

Any ideas?

Why don't you just use the BBC iPlayer app to watch them?

I am just another Sky customer!

@Rodgy84 It's possibly due to episodes only appearing in Catch Up for 30 days. In which case, episode 2 will disappear shortly.

The BBC would prefer you to use iPlayer, so limiting how long episodes stay in Catch Up achieves this.

Hmmm. Doubting my own answer.

Checking on my Sky+HD box, Episodes 2, 3 and 4 of The Reckoning don't expire until 2028.

Similarly, Ep 2 of Time doesn't expire until next year.  Even S1 of Time isn't available.

@Rodgy84 Best course of action would be to email viewer relations at viewerR@sky.uk to see if they can explain it (or just watch on iPlayer)
