Engineer was unable to set dish as ladder was too small
An engineer came to my flat today to install the satellite dish and TV. He was unable due to his ladder being small. Now having to wait till sky gets in touch with a new install date. Me and my children have been waiting for weeks as we have no TV or WiFi

Annoying, do you have a question for other customers?

How long will I have to wait to even find out when a engineer will come out. Bad enough my kids have no TV. But my autistic daughter is freaking out cause her daily routine has changed so much and now she can't even watch her programs

That's a question for Sky, we can't answer that...

Sadly when I asked sky all they said was, when we find someone will let you know. That's not very helpful. The fact I've been a sky customer for years and it seems like they didn't care about the fact of us having nothing. Thank goodness I have a mobile incase of any emergencies for my children

Have you ordered a broadband service? That would be separate from (but potentially orderable alongside) Sky television, but provisioning is on a completely different timescale and carried out by a different installation team.
BT Halo 3+ Ultrafast FTTP (500Mbs), BT Smart Hub 2

Yes but I meant "why"?
That's not dependent on the sky tv installation. Waiting for that for other reasons?
