EE smart hub and Sky Q 2TB. Connection difficulties

I have upgraded from BT hub to EE Smart HUB plus.

I have Shy Q 2TB box.

They are connected by wifi. First month good connection no issues

Issue Sky box loses connection to hub. Happens sporadically but most days

I can try reset but need to add the password everytime, however if I switch off the power completely and then let SKY Q reboot it reconnects.

Both methods work but are annoying.

Does the sky box need updating with software? why is it losing the password then reconnects once the password for the hub is reentered but remembers if I power off and on.

Anyhelp gratefully received

I went on line through chat with Sky engineer. We did a factory reset this is working so far. Ie the connection didn't need resetting  after any standby. So far.

I have a Sky Q TV system which regularly disconnects from the UW broadband we have, at least once or twice a week, sometimes more. This normally requires us to either update the system settings or log into the WiFi again, both of which are quite time consuming. I am unsure if this an issue with the Sky system or the broadband (or both) and would like to know if there is a permanent solution to this as it is now becoming infuriating. We previously had Sky broadband and never once had this issue however this has been constant since moving to UW.

Hi Lisa

 

Although this solved the problem for a time. Again waking from standby today...no wifi and required a full power off.  All other wifi equipement is not having this problem. Are Sky aware of this issue with the boxes? How do I solve this please?
