Download from channel 4 catchup not working

Hi

Today on sky Q I tried to use catch up to download a channel 4 program... yesterday's educating Yorkshire however it just said something like "download failed you don't have a subscription" since when have we needed one, what's going on?

I found a work around just watch it by the channel 4 app, but this forces you to put up with unskippable adverts.

Afraid Channel 4 have decided that to watch Catch Up in HD on Sky Q you need the Sky HD add on monthly subscription.

I have the HD add-on from sky, as I'm sure most people will.

Hi @will28 

I think you would surprised how many subscribers do not have the HD add on.

Regardless if you have it then this is not the issue.
