I am trying to speak to someone about my policy covering an engineer calling on 11/06/24 to check my sky connection.

You may not be aware but this is a customer to customer forum and you aren’t contacting Sky Customer Services by posting on here.
Do you mean Sky Protect through Domestic and General Insurance? Engineer appointments for Sky Q issues (where you've posted) are not charged anyway.
