Does Sky Q tv work with the Wifi Max router over ethernet?

I understand from reading these forums that the Sky Q system is not compatible with the new WiFi Max router over Wifi but does it work with them over ethernet? All of our sky Q devices (1 main box and 1 mini) are plugged in over ethernet. Is there any way you can disable the wifi functionality of the Sky Q system so that the wifi max router and pucks handle wifi around the hosue but the Q boxes still function correctlt for TV over ethernet connections through WiFI max router?

Not sure it's incompatible  but anyway - Just turn off wif on the sky boxes. Might already be off. It's in the installer menu (hover over settings and hit 001 select)

@Chodley Thanks for the quick response, that's handy to know. So Sky have a blanket policy of not upgrading routers to new sky WiFi max router if customer has sky q as it is " not supported". Surely this must only be a WiFi network thing - If the q boxes are connected over Ethernet with the wireless turned off they could in theory work with any router?

Never knew that. How strange. Can't imagine they won't work over ethernet. Probably some weirdness in their wifi.
