Currently have Sky HD, but need to migrate to Sky Q:
Will I have to a have 2 more co-ax cables installed for this, or does Sky Q work on 2 like my current set-up?
Thanks.

You may, also, wish to read some notes I have made for people considering switching from SKY +/HD to SKY Q

Re: Does Sky Q need 4 co-ax cables?
Seeing as some channels will be selectable via the red button with the implementation of Sky + from 8th Aug, will it still be possible to auto record a selection that requires that red button input?

hi @Mike4444
Any red button content which will be delivered via the revamped SKY Sports app will not be able to be recorded (just like most red button content already on Q). It will all be effectively streamed via the app
Aany content on the SKY Sports+ satellite channel (renamed/repurposed SKY Arena) should be able to be recorded via the EPG

Re: Does Sky Q need 4 co-ax cables?
Thanks for that info.
Until the Sky Q box arrives, can I watch a programme on my iPhone via the Sky Go app, which from Aug 8th will be selectable only on Sky Plus via the red button?

The new sports red button content is not via SKy Go but the SKY Sports App
BTW I think you should be able to use the SKY Go app for normal channel content even before your switch
