Re: Do Sky make V3 Sky Q 2TB boxes
Understand the above is correct. The V2 was superceded by the V3 7 years ago for multiple reasons. However maybe due to that it seems Sky still have lots of V2 in stock and very few V3. V2 remains the standard installation / replacement.

As I have wired Ethernet and did have a V3 box, this was my main bugbear with the V2 replacement I received. However, Sky's constant dialogue is "you have HDR so you should be happy".
many thanks
When I switched from a 2Tb V2 box to a 2Tb V3 box I noticed a subtle but distinct improvement in overall image sharpness. The V3 has better video processing it would seem.

Ther shouldn't really be any difference in picture quality because the V2 and V3 boxes use the same SoC.
The only difference is the V3 boxes have a separate onboard wifi and doesn't use the wifi built in to the SoC so doesn't have a many wifi issues as the V2 box when connected to the SR203 hub.

Re: Do Sky make V3 Sky Q 2TB boxes
The wifi on my V3 was just as abysmal as on my original V1 and thus was consigned to the metaphorical bin after much heartache and wrangling.
