Do I need to disconnect the old sky + box before the engineer arrives?

I'm upgrading from Sky + to Sky Q and have an engineer visit booked to make the change. 
My question is do I need to disconnect the Sky + box before the engineer arrives, or will the engineer do this?

The engineer will disconnect the old box
