Disney+ subscription issue, paying for premium but only seeing HD content

I've done all the resets and software updates suggested and now titles which didn't work now do - however the highest resolution I can get on Disney+ is 1080p

 

This is confined in the diagnostics page on the app. Om paying for Disney premium and sk uhd so this is not acceptable. 

 

When are sky and Disney going to talk to each other and sort this out once and for all?

so the Disney+ App now works when my TV is in 2180 res again , HOWEVER, none of the Disney+ content is available in UHD.  Pretty appaling when I am paying for Disney+ Subscription & Sky UHD. I switched from Virgin Media about 5 years ago, thinking time to switch back as I know Virgin box supports 4k UHD for Disney+ 😞

@RandallCat  unless it's changed the Sky Disney app will only show UHD(4K) in HDR so if your Q box or TV is not HDR compatible then even if you have a UHD(4K) box you will only get it in HD.

Hi my tv is UHD , I get UHD with Sky content e.g Dune Prophecy on Sky Atlantic. I can watch Netflix in 4k . I used to be able to watch Disney+ in UHD until approx 4 weeks ago...nothing changed at my end. The problem is with the Sky platform.  Interesting update I've noticed Amazon Prime content is also no longer available in UHD .

@RandallCat when you set your Q box to the resolution 2160 did you use 8 bit or 10 bit option ?  if ypu set itv at 8 bit try changing the setting to 10 bit

Which box do you have 

Home - Settings - System Info - Hardware Version

If it is 32B0xxx then you have a (V1) UHD but non HDR 2TB Box
IIRC Disney + in UHD needs HDR so you will only get HD on it

 

Do you have the Disney+ app on your TV (or other Device) as you do not need to use the SKY Q box even if you siubscribe via SKY
