Re: Disney+ showing a blue screen

Look at your hopes up for HBO Max if the Disney Plus implementation taught us anything sky is incapable of introducing new products without testing them properly and supporting them so I would say just forget it

  • Examine your bill in the coming months and make sure they're not charging for something you're not getting because sky is incapable of doing anything positive I had to call Disney Plus directly to sort out all these issues because Skye was not able to do anything

Re: Disney+ showing a blue screen

Same problem as everyone here with a few other scenarios in the mix

I found out my sky email id was different to my Disney plus account. So changed sky email to match

Tried all the options to activate but got sorry this isn't working at the moment or only option was £9 a month premium (was previously on 14.99 premium through sky).

Sky said only way to resolve was to cancel Disney plus completely and try later. Disney plus still works as sky app but worried I am still being billed 14.99

I also get the blue screen and no option to active free version. So painful and sky customer services have no idea. Spoke to Disney and they were helpful but said only sky can resolve this

Re: Disney+ showing a blue screen

Hi

I activated my Disney+ Premium today and when I tried to watch on my Sky Q disney+ app it came up with the following error code 1026: - AUTH_SERVICE_INT_FAILURE and nothing happens when I do what the disney+ site says will fix the issue.

So now I'm on here to see if you can help me with this issue?

Re: Disney+ showing a blue screen

Just tried Disney plus app it asks me to scan qr code or login. Tried login and took me to disney plus website and restart subscription with the 3 costed options.

Tried my sky, sky shop, market place and back to the blue screen. For nearly a week now I do not have access at all to disney plus. This is embarrassing.

Re: Disney+ showing a blue screen

I spent an hour speaking with a customer service agent from Disney + going through the whole rigmarole of switching off and on again, deleting Disney + app and reinstalling, clearing the cache option etc etc etc. The following day I spent another hour explaining to a Sky customer services agent that I was experiencing this problem and went through the whole switch off and on stuff etc etc etc. The customer service agents were very friendly and professional but at the end of this cycle of futility, I am still unable to receive the channel. The system seems to be stuck in a doom loop and there's no technical fix available as yet. The customer service agent apologised and said that you were working on a fix and promised me £10 compensation for all the hassle I've had to endure. He said that the fix would be available next month, which is April, because the problem has been going on for weeks now. Today is April and the problem persists, can you sort this out for me please? Many thanks in anticipation

Re: Disney+ showing a blue screen

I've tried repeatedly to activate Disney hbo discovery apps and got nowhere. Being told on screen and in emails I'm good to go and nothing happens. I've went through all trouble shooting plans to no avail. I've tried to speak to customer services who implied I may not be able to access because my broadband is not with sky but then they put me through to technical support and nobody to talk to and I'm directed here. Winds me up because when I try to get into the free services I get message saying I need to upgrade to use that service. Any tips guys because sky not helpful at all.

Re: Disney+ showing a blue screen

I'm going to cancel all of my Sky subscription because they are good at taking my money but cannot be bothered when facing minor issues. Waste of space

Re: Disney+ showing a blue screen

I am going to cancel as well. 0nly way sky will learn they can't just take money off people without helping them out. I've gone from having Disney plus to not at all.

Re: Disney+ showing a blue screen

How is this an answer? Still got this issue despite several phone calls to Disney and sky 😡

Re: Disney+ showing a blue screen

Good news I have a fix.

After multiple phone calls and live chats mine is now working. Steps to follow -

Go to my sky app

Click TV

Go to app subscriptions

Select Disney

View tier

As a previous premium customer I only had the £5.99 reduction offering me premium for £9

Selected the premium. Entered my card details as you no longer pay as part it your bill.

Entered Disney email and password.

Then went back to app subscriptions and selected downgrade to free version with ads.

Only downside with this option is I have to pay one month of £9. Which is better than £14.99, but free version kicks in on 03.05 for me.

We now have a working Disney plus. I'm happy, wife is happy and so are the kids

Re: Disney+ showing a blue screen

I'll give this a try but I have a slightly different situation. If I go through my sky Q app I just end up on Disney showing the tiers but  with 'starting soon' highlighted and no option to click anything at all except the back button - all greyed out.
I have refreshed apps via the engineers menu, rebooted etc.
if I open the Disney app on sky I can log in via phone which then says I will get a number to verify - except there is no number showing on the app on my phone.
if I click the other option which is 'get Disney' it just goes through to the 'starting soon' page.
I give up .

Re: Disney+ showing a blue screen

Finally sorted out. It started working on Sky, but could not create an account as it part set up, and then went no further. I had to get Disney to delete my part set up account, but only after a few attempts for them to finally agree

Hey everyone,

Thank you for your patience while we investigate this issue.

Can I ask that if you are seeing an issue that you please upload a picture of the screen where you are seeing the error message/blue screen... this will help the team who are looking at a fix to properly investigate and resolve the issue.

I have marked this post as the answer to the thread and will continue to update with more information.

Thanks,
