Re: Disney+ showing a blue screen

Can you let us know, did you already have Disney+ Premium and changed from paid to free?
That seems to be the tigger for the errors.

Re: Disney+ showing a blue screen

No I didn't have an existing subscription but all I had when I had tried to activate was the blue screen with MYSKY_2306 message ....... thankfully now it's up and running. Hope you get sorted quickly 🤞🏻

Re: Disney+ showing a blue screen

A new dawn, a new day, a new something or other when I hit activate now 🙃

'You need a Disney+ subscription to do this

Please check you've added Disney+ to your account before trying again. Need help? Go to sky.com/help/articles/apps-on-sky-q-and-glass-disney-plus'

Re: Disney+ showing a blue screen

It seems to have progressed from the blue screen but yes I'm getting that another people don't buy that subscription It's supposed to be free we're going to have to wait this out I'm giving sky to April 1st then I'm going to be calling them everyday until they fix this.

It's ridiculous This all should have been ready for everyone on the 17th of March.

Re: Disney+ showing a blue screen

I have the same problem as all the others and got an email the same day increasing prices which are more than the cost of Disney! Nothing is free anymore!

Re: Disney+ showing a blue screen

Making some progress not really.

I was able to add Disney Plus with ads free version to my sky account.

But when I try to activate redirects to Disney's portal which circles around and doesn't let you log in or put in a code.

What a mess.

Hi @Maiqui @gardenflat12 @nesha15

Thank you for patiently waiting while we work through this fault. We are sincerely sorry for any inconvenience.

As you've seen, our support teams have advised that the original blue screen problem is now resolved.

If you could go through these next steps and let me know how you get on:

  • Go to TV and click Manage:
  • Click App Subscriptions
  • Select Activate Disney+
  • Press Start Subscription (Disney+ will open in a new window)
  • Sign-up (New to Disney+) or Sign-In (Existing Disney+ User's)
  • Upon Signing in existing Disney+ user's will then be taken back to MySky if they have a Standard or Premium tier to pay for their tier with a £5.99/€8.99 discount. That makes Disney+ Standard just £4 / €3 a month, and Premium only £9 / €7 a month.

Thanks

Re: Disney+ showing a blue screen

That's doesn't work, still unable to activate.

When you try to login to Disney it gets in a loop, won't take correct password nor code.    See attached.

  • Please look into this, can you check my account?

Re: Disney+ showing a blue screen

Okay finally fixed in the end I had to call Disney directly and have them reactivate my account.

If you're still frustrated with steps and not working then please try Disney as well they were really good they picked up quickly UK-based customer service and just sorted it out waited on a phone while I walk through the tedious steps from sky to activate.

Overall this has been a really bad implementation and it shows that sky. did not test this at all.

I very low expectations for HBO Max and Hulu rolling out without issues.

  • Good luck to the rest of you You're going to need it.

Re: Disney+ showing a blue screen

Thanks @KevNewMedia

I failed at step 1. Literally could not find 'manage' (be good to know where that it. I tried the activate once more on the home page, which had been removed earlier, and it now works and I have processed.

Thanks again
