Disney + keeps on crashing, freezing & cutting out

Struggling to watch anything on Disney + for the last 5 days it keeps on pausing, cutting out & freezing reboot sky Q box & roter, but it returns a few hours later. Not sure what else I can do.

Hi, I have had the same issue for about six months and solved it yesterday. Go to settings on the SkyQ box, select set up, then audio visual, scroll down to Judder reduction for TV apps. It was set to off on my box I turned it on and I've watched two films and six programs without issue. I hope this works for you.

I have a similar problem. No freezing but it crashes after roughly 2 hours of viewing. The sky Q box doesn't crash.. just Disney.

I spoke with the help team at Disney+ they told me it's a common issue for Sky Qbox with smart TVs  as I didn't have this problem before I got my new tv. They did suggest that the maybe sky need to update their tech.  I had to open the Disney+ app on my tv rather than on sky Q to watch any shows. Funny enough I watched Disney+ last week on sky Q box & didn't have any issues. My advice would be to keep contacting sky & or Disney's+ if it happen again to support with trouble shooting.

Does Sky monitor these forums?

 

I tried what was previously posted but it doe snot help.

 

Sky and Disney need to talk to each other and ensure that before Sky adds any apps that they make sure that it is working. It is clearly a Sky and Di8sney plus issue as it works fine on the few smart TV's I have tried.
