Discussion topic: Discovery plus not working via app and activation code

I have been trying to sign up for the 12 months free discovery plus. I try via the sky q box. I get the activation code , add this to the discovery plus account I set up, but when I try to watch it still says I need to upgrade I have the full sky tv package so can't see where I am going wrong. I have tried several times. Could anyone offer a suggestion to sort it please . Thank you

There are a number of steps to follow on your Sky Q box, plus on the phone/tablet/pc to enable it
