Why does it not save where you have watched to. Find myself having to try and remember how many minutes have elapsed.

@Maltbyman the option is there one needs to scroll down to the Continue Watching section
Moonshine's Master Distiller started watching via DPlus app on phone
Driving Wild watched via DPlus app Sky Q box
Continue Watching the same two shows is available on DPlus app on phone white line shows how much I've watched and should continue from where I left
Like I said the option is there you need to scroll down to find it.

Problem not solved doesn't work unless you have saved the shows/programmes to My List in the first place @Maltbyman
The two programmes in the continue watching section or not in My List
You should make sure your solution is correct beforehand as the marked answer is incorrect
Also the DPlus app on my mobile device doesn't have a My List as the shows/programmes automatically go to the Continue Watching row regardless if watched from a mobile device or via the app on Sky Q

Even if I use the resume function, it doesn't work for me. I've tried everything, refreshing apps (Sky advised) I make a mental note of where I am in the show,, so I can go there when I go back. Its ridiculous, but I've been experiencing this for months.

Since adding programmes to my list in discovery + the resume option sometimes works. I thought it was resolved but obviously not. Might be worth contacting discovery + to get them to check it again.
