TV and SkyQ box was disconnected yesterday overnight to allow carpet fitters access to lay new carpet. Reconnected today and screen message says" video format not supported" and unable to show normal TV

@Schnell you could try with your Q box switched on and showing the green light pressing the following on your Q remote the home button then 1080 then the home button again

I may be a Sky Superuser but I am still just a Sky customer

I had an hour long discussion with the Sky Tech Dept on Thursday, and the conclusion was that the cable between the SkyQ box and TV was faulty, and a new one was being despatched by courier. I am now told by email today ( 8 July) that it will take 3-5 days to reach me. I did find last night that by moving the pink plug on the SkyQ box up and down that the picture reappeared, so it does suggest a broken wire inside the pink plug. When the new cable arrives, that should solve the problem. Thanks for a correct diagnosis.
