I saw your post from a year ago and wondered if you know what the current cost is? as l am currently paying for Sky sports complete incl sky sports HD @ £33 plus £6 for sky sports HD. Is this right?

Hi
unfortunately being charged for sky sports hd is a con . Sky sports broadcasts in hd as standard now , not like the old days when they had standard definition. I've questioned this on many occasions and I'm told it's a legacy payment, which is utter rubbish . To sum it up it's a rip off ,
my sky sports ends this month, never again until they get rid of this ridiculous charge

If that was the case then fair enough but I doubt it , you can get sky sports on now tv cheaper than that , which is owned by sky ,

Currently £20 on Q. That's in HD as standard

Exactly my point , I signed up for the same deal 18 months ago and was charged £22 , until someone can confirm it's £20 on there bill and not more for hd I won't believe it

You have just said what I've been saying from the beginning of this discussion, HD as standard, so why are they changing for HD ?

Last October I recontracted but cancelled complete Sports pack as they wouldnt reduce it from £33 a month + £2 Sports HD. As I rarely watch any other sports except F1, so just had the 1 channel and was paying £20 a month just for F1 channel + £2 for Sports HD. In November I was offered a deal of complete Sports pack for just £18 a month, so signed up for this but still paying exytra £2 for Sports HD.

Not sure where you get that from @Bouncerdave65 in part it's correct but if you get the 6 month saver at £26.00 then it goes back to being £34.99 that's in standard HD NOW Ultra Boost is an extra £9.00 per month.
I'm out of contract with my Sky TV but on the plus side
My Sky Sports Complete with Sky Sports HD and Sky UHD is less than NowTv with the 6 month saver and Ultra Boost.

I wasn't comparing the price of sky sports for all customers, I was referring to the£39 pm in the previous post.
I still want to know why they charge for HD

Have you got proof that you are paying for Sky Sports HD @Bouncerdave65 I'm paying for Sky HD as I want to watch programmes in HD I also pay for UHD as well.

Of course I have proof , I've been arguing this point for the last year , all I get is it's a legacy payment . There should be no charge for sky sports Hd as hd is standard.now .
