As we only have 1 tv will we really have to pay £99 for the box if/when we upgrade to Sky Q?

There is normally an upfront Activation caherge @JPDers

Youdont actually buy Q boxes as they are always owned by Sky and only rented,

As for the cost best to speak directly to Sky and see if you can negotiate a deal

They did a free upgrade offer recently. I would push to be treated the same.
