Connecting soundbar to LG tv via Sky Q box

Have just bought a Samsung soundbar and I don't seem to be able to connect to my LG tv via my Sky Q box can anyone help help

A Q box might connect via a soundbar, but not the other way around.

 

Which model is the Samsung?

hi @StMirren1 

 

Assuming the Sound Bar & TV both support ARC then connect the HDMI ARC port on the TV to the ARC  HDMI (output) on the Sound bar & connect the SKY Q to any other HDMI input on your TV
