Connecting sky mini box to sky max booster pods

I have sky max router and 2 max pods to boost the coverage throughout my house. It works really well. The main sky q box is attached to the main router, but when I try to set up the mini box it can't connect to the network unless it's near the main router. Why isn't it seeing and joining the max pods like all my other devices?

Because Mini boxes only connect to WiFi from each other, the main Q box or previous Sky booster models (for the Q Hub and Sky Broadband Hub)

Re: Connecting sky mini box to sky max booster pods

I still have a Sky Broadband Booster here in a box, but that doesn't seem to connect to the Max router! I thought the point it the max pod boosters was that it boosted the coverage from the Max router all through the house - so strange that the technology doesn't allow my mini box to connect. Weirder still that all my kit/network is Sky, and still doesn't connect? What's the solution??
