Hi @Wasons

Any HDMI device connected to Sky Q boxes needs HDCP 2.2.

...which the laptop is unlikely to support.  (Even if it has an HDMI in...)

Why not use Sky Go?  (https://www.sky.com/pages/sky-go/download-the-app)

Hi @Wasons   Simply use Sky Go on your laptop. It has everything that a Mini box has.

@Wasons

I'm not aware of any laptop which permits use of its screen as the monitor for an external device.  The HDMI port on a laptop is for output of content displayed by the laptop onto a screen or projector.

Conceivably an HDMI to USB capture card might display content from a non-commercial external source on the laptop screen, but as @oldfella indicates, that couldn't work with a Q Mini because it would be blocked by HDCP.
