Connecting Sky Q box to a Samsung soundbar

Good afternoon everyone,  I have a Sky Q box  and a Samsung TV Model QE55Q80CATXXU and also  a Samsung Soundbar Model Q930C .

My tv does not have an external aerial connection, because of this, is the only way I can connect the Q box through an optical link, as obviously the Q box only has one HDMI output.

Any advice gratefully received

Surely, connect Q to TV via HDMI and then connect TV to soundbar using eARC?

Both items support ARC.

Thanks for your quick reply, I was told by an assisant in Currys the connection would have to be through an optical link.
