Hi @Bruno2020

Try completly resetting your Bluetooth remote.
with your Q box on with green led,
Press and hold 7 & 9 together on the remote until it’s led flashes four times.
Then make sure that you are pointing your remote at the Q box and press 1 & 3 together until the led flashes and follow onscreen instructions to re- pair.

Hi @Bruno2020   By pairing your Sky Q remote to include your TV it can control volume, input and off and on. It cannot control any other function on your TV.

Have paired my sky remote with my Samsung TV, but it doesn't switch the TV on or off. Can change volume fine but doesn't switch off. TV model is UE50CU8500KXXU.

Re: Connect Sky Q remote controller to operate Samsung tv

Although a slightly old post, so possibly resolved, the reason is that whereas you can have two Bluetooth remotes connected to the tv to turn it on and change volume, only one of them can turn the TV off.

To use the Sky remote for this you just need to unpaired the Samsung remote by holding down the Back and PlayPause buttons for 3 seconds.  Once unpaired,  your Sky remote should now be the prime remote so, assuming already paired to the tv,  will now turn it off with the long press method on the power button.
