Confused by the myriad of different packages
I’ve just joined sky Q and I don’t find the pricing easy to understand.
My bill reads; sky signature @ £29, and Ultimate TV add on @£6 over an 18 month contract. The Netflix addition is useful for me. Because of Sky rewards I also have Sky HD for a couple months at a discount.
My question is;, When my rewards discount ends, would I have to continue with Sky HD @£9 to continue to access Netflix? Meaning the total cost is £29 sky signature + £6 Ultimate Tv add on + £9 Sky HD?
Or is the Ultimate TV package actually sky HD? I’m not actually even sure what the £6Ultimate Tv add on is?
Thank you for any help
Chris

Re: Confused by the myriad of different packages
The ultimate TV add is NetFlix.
Strictly you don't need HD but having that pack gives your Sky HD channels and influences the level of NetFlix you have. (HD=2 screens/standard, UHD as well gives you 4 screens/premium - neither give you basic)

If you've only just joined Sky the pricing you have been offered seems high. At the moment a new customer can sign up to Sky Q with Signature and Ultimate TV combined for £28pm. HD can be added for an extra £9pm.
Sky are notorious for offering the same service at very different prices depending on how you sign up and who you sign up with.
If I were you I would call them and negotiate because I think you're paying too much.
