We are moving and want to cancel our Sky package at our current address.
This includes SkyQ, House phones and broadband. I need to know whether we take the sky box with us. We are not sure what we will do once we have moved into our new house. So I would like to cancel the whole package. Going forward we may request a new package, but for now I want to cancel from 12 November 2024.

You need to take all Sky hardware apart from dish and dish cables with you. You are responsible for their safekeeping (and return to Sky if you cancel)

Note that you'll need to phone Sky to cancel: this cannot be done through a forum post.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreTo cancel all your TV subscription, if you’re out of contract you’ll need to give Sky the required 31 days notice. The latest T’s and C’s explicitly state you can’t cancel when still in a minimum term deal unless Sky agree. If they agree you’ll have to pay the remainder of your discounted term.
If you successfully cancel you should receive an acknowledgment email from Sky.
Don't forget that return packaging will be sent to the account address, not your new address.
If you are cancelling Sky Q, return packaging will be sent out near the end of your notice period. Obtain proof of posting and keep it safe and indefinitely.
