Your TV probably doesn't record at all.
If you mean a main Q box, try switching it off at the mains for a minute, then on again.
If the problem remains, it's likely to be a hard drive issue and the box will need replacing by Sky.

Press Standby on your Sky Q remote and then switch off and unplug at the mains.
Wait at least 30 secs and then switch your Sky Q box back on at the mains.
Wait for the on screen instructions to disappear and the front led to turn Amber. Then wait a few seconds before you press Home on your Sky Q remote which should change the light to green and home screen should appear.
