Cant install replacement Q box.

Replacement skyQ box arrived. Installation procedure followed. 

Screen shows 'Accessibility on Sky Q'

Settings button is highlighted. Unable to select. Remote turns box on but nothing else.

Sky have suggested the following...

  • Unpair their Sky Q remote from the box by holding 4&6
  • Wait for the remote to flash
  • Then dismiss the information screen "Skip & set up later"
  • Hold 1&3 to repair the remote control

If 4&6 does not allow you to clear the information screen, try holding 7&9 to reset the Sky Q remote then hold 1&3 and follow the on-screen setup journey to allow the remote to control the TV.

Hi @Kevin2179 

Reset your Q box remote by pressing  and holding 7 & 9 together on the remote until it’s led flashes four times. 
This will set it to infrared which will work all Q boxes.   However the remote must be pointed directly at the Q box box.

Switch your Q  box back on and you then you should be able to get past the screen

Once you get the Q box working make sure that you are pointing your remote at the Q box and press 1 & 3 together until the remote led flashes and follow onscreen instructions to re- pair.
