I don't currently have a satellite connect but was happily downloading content to watch, however if I try an sownload anything it say either there is a problem or it comes up as queued!! I have unplugged it but same error occurs

You need a live satallite connection for he box to continue working.
Is there a reason you don't have your box connected to your dish?

Yes there is a reason and a engineer is booked!!
It may be netflix for a while
