Hi @Yog1 

Assume you have tried Network Reset found in Q box Home - Settings - Setup - Network.
Highlight Status and then select Reset on the right hand side. Follow instructions to connect by WiFi to your router.

As you are on 3rd party (non Sky ) broadband then you need to enter the SSID and password for the router 2.4 Ghz WiFi band.

That's the only way to connect it by WiFi @Yog1 

Either it is too far away or else there is an issue with the router WiFi range.

Do you have the possibility to connect your Q box to your router by Ethernet cable?

Another option would be to ask Sky for a Q WiFi booster.

Then you could connect this to your router by a (shortish) Ethernet cable.

You could then use WPS to connect your Q box to the booster WiFi.
