Cannot view TNT Sports HD channels, but can view TNT Sports SD channels

I recently upgraded to Sports Extra to get the TNT Sports and Premier HD channels.

I can view the TNT Sports SD channels and Premier 1 HD channels, but for some reason I cannot view the TNT Sports HD channels.

When I select them I get a "You are not subscribed..." When I press the red button to subscribe it reports that I am already subscribed and to wait a few hours.

Has anyone else experienced this issue?

Can you tell us what you mean by Sports Extra? Do you mean Sky Sports+ ?

Sky Sports Extra is a Sky Ireland package that combines TNT and the Irish version of Premier Sports ( that is a different offering  to the UK Premier Sports, due to country Sport rights changes).

Im not sure if you need some kind of other hd pack to get TNT in HD, which maybe sounds like the case.

Thanks, I do have the HD package that allows HD channels. Interestingly I have Premier 1 HD sports channel so am unsure what else I need to do to get TNT Sports HD?

To be fair, Sky did remove my Sports Extra package and re-add it. But unfortunately this did not resolve my issue.

Had the same issue last season, I've subscribed again today and still no hd for tnt, is there a fix ? WO wasting my time ringing sky like I did LY

Have the same issue. Subscribed to Sky Sports, Sky sports extra and HD for all channels. But dont have HD with TNT, same issue as OP

Anybody got any suggestions? I've rang Sky today but was told the dept that deals with this issue is closed for the weekend

Yeah I had forgotten about it until TY when resubscribed.  Remember ringing them LY and they were aware of the problem.  Seemed to me there was a row with tnt over payments and could only transmit in SD, but that's only my opinion.  Yeah they don't do weekends, and when you do get them you can't understand them cause there english is so bad ....
