Cancelled Sky but want to carry on with Netflix

Hello all. I've cancelled Sky TV (ends in June) and have Netflix with my package. I want to carry on using Netflix and don't want to lose my profiles, viewing history etc but I can't change the payment method via Netflix account, it just says payments are managed by Sky. I created the Netflix account when Sky started so they have only taken payments via Sky. When Sky cancels will I lose Netflix altogether or can I then update the payment method? Or do I have to start from scratch with a new Netflix account?

@Laing1  I found the answer out, a message popped up to update my payment method on my Netflix account when my Sky cancelled. I added my card and my account carried on as normal. What you can't do though is change the tier you are on before you make the payment,  it bills you for one month on the tier you were on with Sky and if you want to upgrade/downgrade you can change it straight away but it only comes into affect when the next bill cycle starts.

@ABCD12345678 I'm fairly sure that you will have to start again from scratch by taking a subscription with Netflix

Your account might still exist. Worth giving Netflix a call to see if they know what will happen to it

@ABCD12345678 I think if your account had originally been with Netflix and swapped payments to Sky then you can keep the same account and the payments would revert back to Netflix but as you have never had an account with Netflix direct its creating a new account
