Can u watch Irish rte channel on sky tv in the uk

i was told I could and rte1 is on channel 115??

If I remember correctly 115 is BBC3 for UK subscribers (not near my TV at the moment).

@David722 Although you can manually find and add the RTE1 channel, a UK subscription card does not allow this channel to be viewed.

In Northern Ireland, yes, but not in the other three nations of the United Kingdom. 

 

There's a longstanding reciprocal agreement which recognises the unique history of the island of Ireland and allows distribution of public service channels from the other side of the border despite these not being covered by the applicable funding methods.

 

RTE Player content may not be available in the North, as with full iPlayer in the Republic, and some sports events are blacked out because of rights issues.
