Can't sign up to Netflix

Hi,

 

I signed up for Netflix through the Sky app tonight and received the confirmation email, however when I launch the app from the Sky Q box I just get a spinning red circle.

 

I've not had Netflix before so am unclear how I sign up to be able to use the service if the Sky app isn't working, I can't use password rest via Netflix since there's no record of an account with them.
