Can't get programmes through my minibox in bedroom
The remote will switch the TV on but not the minibox. When I switch the box on manually I get a screen showin Accessibility in Sky Q. The remote will not allow me to select Settings or Skip And Set Up Later as shown on that screen. The remote will turn the TV off but not the minibox. I have no problem with my main Sky Q box situated in the lounge.

Sky have suggested the following...
- Unpair their Sky Q remote from the box by holding 4&6
- Wait for the remote to flash
- Then dismiss the information screen "Skip & set up later"
- Hold 1&3 to repair the remote control
If 4&6 does not allow you to clear the information screen, try holding 7&9 to reset the Sky Q remote then hold 1&3 and follow the on-screen setup journey to allow the remote to control the TV.

Thanks for your help Daniel. I tried following all the steps you laid out but the minibox is not working and now my remote won't even switch the TV on or off. I am sure there is a fault with the minibox and I need an engineer or a new one. I have tried everything to actually speak to a Sky Adviser to no avail. I very much need an engineer to come and sort out this problem. How do I get to speak to a real person??

Hi Daniel. Just tried telephoning again and got a person who talked us through step by step starting with cutting the power from the box and going through step by step using much of the advice you gave us until we finally got the box working and then through identifying the make and model of our TV the remote fully functional. Thank you so much for your advice. 10/10 for you and the operative!
