Can’t find sky’s remote plus can’t download sky+ app

Misplaced sky Q remote. Instructions on how to find remote by pressing the skyQ bottom doesn't work. Also tried to down app (so I can use my phone as a remote control) but Apple Store doesn't have sky+ app

Hi @TitiA When Sky Q first came out  you could  use the Sky + app with  but only for remote record and remote downloads the remote control feature via the Sky + app didn't work with the  Sky Q box

There are plenty of apps out there that allow you to control your Sky Q box with you phone some are free some are not

Depending on your original tv remote these also allow you to operate your Sky Q box

My LG Magic Remote which is a bluetooth remote allows me to operate my Sky Q box with the buttons on my LG magic remote and some degree of voice control.

In addition, the 'find my remote' only works on the main box, not on a mini box if that's the remote you've misplaced.

Many thanks for your response. Helpful to know the sky+ app doesn't work on SkyQ boxes. The remote has now been found (in a place I had looked at at least 4 times previously 🤦🏾‍♀️)
